JAWS Scripts for Microsoft Teams Version 2!
Version 2 of the JAWS scripts for Microsoft Teams will be released as soon as possible following the release of JAWS 2024. This not only contains enhancements to speech and Braille output for Microsoft Teams version 1 and 2, but in addition more shortcut keys to improve efficiency overall when using this application. Finally, more help documentation is provided.
Despite making clear from the outset that updates to the Teams scripts would be available for one year, we have made no charge for them since the initial release in early 2021.
The existing scripts version 1 can be used in JAWS 2024. However, to benefit from the new improvements and ongoing support, version 2 will be required.
To be clear, version 2 of the Teams scripts can be accommodated within earlier versions of JAWS, from version 2021 to 2024.
The cost of the upgrade is £50 which is currently $62.
