SenseAbility! Using the BrailleSense 6, Series 1.

Many blind people have been used to working with portable notetaking devices for decades. These are products specifically designed for visually impaired people so as to principally write documents and keep track of appointments.

However, in today's ever-changing world of technology, people are wanting much more than that. Fortunately, there is a device which meets these needs. It's the BrailleSense 6. It provides a suite of specially designed applications to get day-to-day jobs done quickly, but because it is an Android-based device, it also gives access to many apps available in the Google Play Store.

The BrailleSense 6 does come equipped with a fairly comprehensive User Guide. However as we know, there is nothing like someone sitting alongside you, teaching you how to use the product.

In our tutorial, Sense-Ability Series 1, we promise you the best training you have ever had with your BrailleSense product. The tutorial includes many strategies and tips not documented elsewhere which will help you to use applications efficiently. If you've ever attended one of our training courses before, you will know that each concept is clearly explained in straightforward easy-to-understand language.
In this training course, we found ways to accomplish many tasks which are not described in the product's User Guide, including useful keyboard shortcuts.

A user of the training course writes:
"I have so appreciated the BrailleSense course: for me the timing of the course has coincided with my long delayed transition from my old much loved Humanware Apex to this BrailleSense. Your exposition of so many aspects of the device has been so thorough and then there has been your style and skill of presentation."

This training course is suited to anyone who has a BrailleSense 6 or who would like to learn more about it, perhaps to train someone else or with a view to purchasing one.

Text Transcripts.

Apart from high quality training and audio reproduction of our courses, what sets us apart is that we also include for such tutorials a full text transcript of the lessons. We have perfected our ability to transcribe the audio to text so that it is highly accurate. This includes the comments and questions from the participants who originally took part in the training course and the output from the BrailleSense itself.
